Think of spring, I know kinda hard on such a dark blizzard cold spring day. But what flowers come to mind? There are so many great spring options for brides that really can easily drift softly into the early summer months.

{tulips} many people dont know that there are many many varieties of tulips, introducing the FRINGED tulip.

This ever so delicate detail looks impossibly possible, only mother nature could create such an intricate anomaly.

Tulips are a classic spring flower in their most typical form, but are also becoming more popular in parrot {a more textured variety} and French {a larger bloom tulip}. They are beautiful cut blooms, even better bulbed and used as earthy decor, versatile in so many ways. That all being said they do best in potted or contained arrangements rather then bridal bouquets or worn flowers, were they tend to not be the hardiest of options.

Then there is the paperwhite …narcissi … or more commonly referred to as the daffodil. A graciously delicate bloom most commonly available in white & yellow varieties. Another classic spring signature.

Hyacinth is yet another spring bulb flower favorite and comes in a few varieties and colors. Most commonly used in purple, blue & pink shades. Baby or grape hyacinth appeal to those that desire the petite bloom.

Other spring fav’s are blossoming branches or bushes. Cherry tree blossoms tend to be the most popular type for weddings along side of viburnums spherical spring bush bloom. Cherry blossoms at one point even became a trendy theme carried through the entire wedding. Viburnum is one of the most requested green flowers, both of these options are spring delicacies that should be taken advantage of.

Often times planning bride’s dont understand seasonal options in flowers, and thats just fine because really its not necessary that you understand it, a good floral designer will provide this info and design for you with your season and tastes in mind. But just in case you want to know there are flowers that are only available during their blossoming season, there are also flowers that seem seasonal but truthfully are available all year round {subject to price fluctuation}, and then there are a vast majority of choices that really are consistent in availability and price.
